01 · ABOUT
About ATDT

A Kenyan company, built for the field.

All Terrain Driver Training is a professional driver development company working with conservancies and safari lodges across Kenya — built around one belief: the people behind the wheel deserve the same standard of excellence as everything else they protect.

What We Do
Professional observation, driver assessment and one-to-one coaching, delivered in real vehicles on real terrain — not in a classroom.
Who We Work With
Conservancies, safari lodges and camps across Kenya, from first-time drivers to experienced guest-facing guides.
The Standard
Skills. Safety. Conservation. Every partnership is built around these three pillars, measured and left behind as practical tools management can keep using.
02 · ORIGIN
The Origin

Why ATDT exists.

“After my racing career ended, I found myself drawn back to Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes — and I kept returning to everything I’d learned behind the wheel.

ATDT began not as a business idea, but as a question: why not bring motorsport-level driving discipline into the world of conservation? Today, every partnership ATDT builds is rooted in that same belief — that the people behind the wheel are one of a conservancy’s most valuable assets, and worth developing to the same standard as everything else the organisation protects.

Ol Maisor Conservancy

From First Assessment to Operational

A team of drivers was formally assessed, trained and developed by ATDT — all now classified Operational. Their deployment concluded with a combined recovery exercise, and a 60-day post-training monitoring system remains in place.

Building Drivers From Zero Experience

Drivers began this programme as complete beginners, with no prior driving experience whatsoever. Within their first round of training, they demonstrated strong learning potential, with progress reaching as far as supervised conservancy driving.

TH

Before ATDT, Tejas spent years in motorsport racing — a career built on precision, discipline and split-second decision-making under pressure. When that chapter ended, his path led back to Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes, and the two worlds quietly converged.

ATDT is the result: driving standards borrowed from the racetrack, applied to the people who protect Kenya’s conservancies and shape its safari experiences every single day.
